My younger sister in law needs help with a few questions and I'm buggered if I can help. So here goes,and who can help.

she is 15 and got a care services crossword puzzle

she needs 4 down: the initials used to identify the group of people who deliver health care in the community settings

9 down. last letter S.
these organisatuions are the bigest provider of statuory health care services in the UK

and 9 across. 5th letter d, 8th letter R
these types of health care services are provided in hospitals

any help all

Oh, I see. I thought you were saying that the first question unanswered is number 4 down. Not that it is 4 letters down.

It confused me as theres no point saying whether its up or down is there ??

could be but that word crosses the 9 letter cross to name it 3rd letter s, 5th d and 8th r?

yup looks good but the HASC for the 4 down can't right. as I now have 9 across with 1st letter S. 3rd letter s. 5th d and 8th R. so if i take out the HASC I got
1st S
5th D
8th R?

Community Health Workers is the abbreviation.

Can you not scan and post the actual crossword on here. This would make it a lot easier for us.

4 - PCCN (primary care community nurses)
9 - hospitals
9 - secondary (though position of 'd' is wrong, I think this could be right)
