I guess this is where, on PH, I'll find all those who enjoy cleaning their car, as I do.
But whilst we all enjoy cleaning our cars, what is it you find the worst job when cleaning?

I've just spent two days taking off the wheels on my Mum's Merc and my car, pressure washing and shampoo'ing the wheel arches, cleaning the alloys, then applying two coats of wax to them.
It's the first time I've personally done it. It was a dirty, wet job and very time consuming - it took about an hour per corner!
I'm pleased with result - even more so now the rest of the car has been cleaned and waxed.

So over to you guys....smile

Detailing my engine I find a chore, and also doing the wheel arches / insides of the wheels every four weeks with wax and jetseal.

The worst part for me is knowing that within a few short years it'll need doing all over again.

TVR Spider alloys I have farly large hands and find it a bugger to get the back of them without leaving skin on the disks.

I hate trying to chamois a white car on a bright day. You become incapacitated for about 10 mins before you can drive it anywhere.

I hate drying the car, coz i just want to get on with the polishing, sealing, waxing and making it look good!
I enjoy doing the wheels front and backs because it makes a huge difference!

Ahh another hate. I used to hate waxing white cars on sunny days. Couldnt see where you had been and needed shades lol

You may be over-doing it.

Many products on the market for 'better' or 'cleaner' windows when using a wet chamois and some hand tissue gives the best results.
