Broke the diff, so thought I'd upgrade the brakes...
Discussion
I found a few scary noises coming from the transmission ever since I replaced the clutch. It turns out the next weakest item has now broken - the pinion bearing in the diff is a little sloppy.
So while the car is off the road in pieces (again) I decided to upgrade the brakes to 324mm discs and Brembo 4 pot calipers.

I know the caliper is upside down. It's only fitted to measure distances for the adaptor brackets I need to make.
It'll be nice to have bigger discs at the front than the back. The brake balance might be right even when the brakes get hot then. I don't know what posessed TVR to put 260mm discs on the front and 273mm on the back, other than they had a job lot of 15" wheels to use up...
Next up is the track-day exhaust when customs finally let me have my parts.
Maybe I'll even get around to finding someone to put a Quaife ATB in the GKN diff case...
