Just moved down here myself, really nice place (IMHO)

The Anchor is, well, it's a Hungry Horse, NUFF SAID?

Green Dragon isn't bad, and is being refurbished.

Railway Hotel

Links is good, but a bit pricey

Black Fox (carry on past the links for a mile or so} Really nice, beer's cheap V. good food (I'm staying here for a few weeks till I find house to rent!)

There are far nicer areas in the vicinity than liphook. Petersfield I prefer as a small town.

I'm moving in on Saturday - walkable to the Green Dragon (5 mins) to give you an idea.

I've heard the bar at the golf course is really nice?

Its only a rental (as i can't sell my house) - so it'll do for 6-12 months whilst i'm working in London.

give me a shout if you are having any more meets in area.

I've lived in Farnham, Godalming, Guildford, Mychett etc - so i know area reasonably well - just not Liphook itself

I'm staying here Monday night to Friday morning for the next few weeks. Call in for a beer one night, or to eat, the food is really good!. Check your mail!
