First post here as have just got an M rep escort. It has the standard (didn't know it had one) alarm. I have had it a week and I have been in and out of the car all week cleaning it out (was monging) while waiting for the insurance docs. Went to open the door and the alarm went off. Shut the door and locked it and it went quiet. Opened the door and it went off,so put the key in the ignition and it started and the the alarm stopped.got out the car, left it running, went to the house, opened the door and its blarring again.......How the f**k can I stop it or can I disconnect it without issues of the battery ruuning down etc. Help!!!!!

try locking and unlocking the passenger door and then do the same on the drivers door, i used to have an escort that if i locked the car by passenger and then went into the shop and then open drivers door the alarm would keep going off, other than that gd luck with you neighbours

Focus boy, cheers for that. The wife opened the passenger door the fit the tax disc and has been OK since and even brought it in to work to prove the girly better than bloke thing..................
