Couldn't give a f
k, its the weekend, man
What can you do about it? Sod all. Will it affect you? Almost certainly.
But hey, I'm 37, ain't gonna be retiring soon, so hopefully when I'm older it will all be sorted.
Until then, you can't do s
t about it, so stop all the whining and gloom FFS

People with appreciable spare funds might be expected to take some extra care over finding a (reasonably) safe form of investment for them. I think it's a matter of trying to be aware of what's going on, and how things seem likely to develop, and protecting yourself as best you can.

job is secure, just had a payrise and expecting another. outgoings have actually been reduced thanks to the .5% rate cut. no credit cards & a small overdraft. financially i'm fine thanks.
only thing i'm bothered about is house prices as i really don't want to have spent 2 years working on something only for it to be worth less than it was when i started. that will piss me off no end.

I couldn't give a hoot.
I've got my health, my family and I am able to pay the bills and share a pint or two with my mates.
Where have we come from in the dark ages where we had no electricity, no health service and no cars?
How did people live back then and survive? Same way as we will 'survive' this time.
It's not a world war you know, its greedy governments being exposed. Ditch the lot of em, earn your own money and hide it under the blanket away from banks and big corps. We trusted them too long with too much and what have they done to our money? Devaluated it so its fast becomong worthless.. as you will have noticed I can't be bothered with it all. Money is money - the route of all evil but a necessary evil, so the less you have the less you have to worry about because you cannot mourn the loss of something you havent had.. if you see my point

Where's the "quite happy actually" option?
Now reaching the end of my 20s, anything in my pension has a good while to recover and grow, I don't owe anyone any money, own my car outright, have some savings which are getting decent interest (not all of it in icelandic banks!) and that are growing as I live well within my means, and by the time I fancy buying a house in a year or two they'll be well within reach. I feel financially pretty comfortable, mainly because I didn't overstretch myself.
I pondered buying a house a while ago and concluded they were ludicrously overvalued and I'd rather sit back and save up to get a better deposit together. I'm very glad I ignored all the "must get a foot on the ladder" types and can now sit back, watch this interesting story unfold and wait till the time is right to get in there.
