so Car magazine have run out of genuine content, they just invent stuff...the car is 5 years away, just a sniff on VW design board and they are talking about a 1200kg + "Elise rival" ...err..yeah right...the mean MX5 rival :lol

So there isnt a new idea in VW - Modular steel assembly system Lotus have VVS (and alloy/ composite materials) Lotus have the elise for the last decade and i will still take VW to 5 years to get the idea off the drawing board. No wonder they wanted to buy Lotus.

So, VW are planning on making an expensive, heavy MR2 but the magazine are comparing it to the Elise to make the story sound sexier?
