New Brabus for two Cab quite impressed

This will be the other halves fourth Smart Car owning the first a mk1 in 1998 that she passed her test in. Her current Smart a 2003 Brabus 42 cab has now done 60k and I thought it was time to buy a new one. I won't repeat the expletives uttered by Kerry at the thought of having yet another smart but suffice to say she was not too impressed with the idea. So paying attention to her every word I ordered a new one. Delivery initially november/december that then became january/february. Not too happy I wrang the dealer and luckily they had just taken delivery of a new brabus, almost identical speck but whoever had cancelled the order. I picked the car up wednesday. Well I must say that the new smart is not just a revision in look and interior. Kerry's words it now feels like a proper luxury car. Far better ride, a lot more torque, a glass rear window that you can now see out of. I like the way it blips the throttle on down shifts when you use the paddles. Still has laggy gear change but the gearbox gets less confused on hills and holds the gears longer. Thankfully she understands why I bought a new one (having driven a demo) and is enjoying it as much as she did her very first one. She just wants me to have the stabilisers taken off. In english she means the speed limiter

My wife has one too, its a little rocket and has surprised a few BMW idiots!! It drives great and it looks great and what's more is a Brabus for less than 16K!!
