Bodywork repairs...how do they do that?

Finally got my Chimp back after rear-end damge repaired. Top job by Team Proactive, really is impossible to see where new rear section has been bonded in. Just curious (and anxious not find myself with a huge draught one day), but how is a big section like that bonded in so that it is stable, secure etc?
