Boys

Excuse the laziness, I should be doing 2 different topics here...

Can anyone recommend a top notch alloy cleaner ?

Also what do you tend to do during the winter months to keep the old girl from getting stiff - what with rain, frozen/filthy roads, lack of use of use and battery maintenance etc..

No, steer clear - these are not reccommended as they eventually strip the coating away resulting in early corrosion. Just wax wash and then a coating of wax for protection.

prolac for my wheels.very expensive but brilliant product.i usually when buying wheels strip them of any laquer on them then,use prolac .i have never had any issues with tarnishing, salt ingress etc

If its not garaged then i'd recommend getting a cover or shelter for it. Also try not to stamp on the accelerator as these cars are known to spin in cold damp conditions.
