Finally I have finished my DIY megasquirt installation driving
So I thought I would share the results of my rolling road session yesterday.

Pre the installation the car was reading a standard
262bhp ( fly)
302 ft/lb

Since that rolling road a year ago the following has been added
thermal spacer
Short flaired trumpets
72 mm plenum
Megasuirt Mk 1

installation

results on rolling road

well happy with the results
42bhp 40ft/lb gained

I like how you done the coilpack wiring, I didn't think it was possible to get it nicely split left/right.

Nice install, and good figures.

It's similar to how mine was wired when I had the standard plenum. You do have to be a little creative, but it's possible smile

Happy is not the word, different car, drop a cog and hang on. driving
It is soooo much more instant power in every gear at every rpm, and all the way through the revs, old ecu went dead at 5200, this well the graph says everything, all the way to 6200

Oh for a new cam, lick what will we chose
H404 eek . nuts
stealth spin

I will now start my guide type to megasquirt installation,
I promised for the Griff pages.

I have 2d CAD, 3 CAD, Int Circuit design, CFD software.... but there is sweet FA that does wiring diagrams... its a real pain to try & manually layout / maintain anything above very simple diagrams... :-(

Yeah, remember you're my ghost writer. SO you write it, I correct it and then I take the credit. That's how it's all done wink

ady, I have the V8D/V8 Racing's Rob's Stealth Mk3 fitted to my 500 and it is a superb cam, very smooth and tractable at slow speed or in town and then delivers a real boost in the mid range right through to the top end, well recommended.

Thanks, will not be making any rushed choices, plus after the car being off the road for a while I intend to enjoy it for a while, but come Junes service we will see.
