Hi, one of my companies specialises in no frills good honest affordable web design. We are getting more and more enquiries for sites outside our remit, ie to big or technical for us to handle.

Looking for a web partner (yes again, last one tried to stiff us never a good idea when you have a debt collection agency as well) to pass work onto in return for a commission 10 - 20 % Have two jobs in now that need quoting for (1 is a local authority tender in by end of OCT)

You will need to have the capacity, experience, knowledge and above all customer service skills please.

PM me if interested.

The commission is worked on a trust basis, ie we pass work onto you, if you get it and when you are paid we get our cut. Please dont bother contacting us if you can't work on an ethical footing. Two idiots have tried to fleece us and ended up paying the price. If we cannot find a trustworthy partner at the third time of looking we shall simply bin the work we can't handle, which is worth between £6 - £30k+ a year.

Why don't you just outsource your work to somebody in India using rentacoder?

Great site - put the work you need doing out to tender and see evidence of the bidders' work

http://www.elance.com/p/landing/buyer.html

Very efficient site.

One of my clients do some pretty good stuff.

They've created things such as dancetracksdigital and passionato.

E-mail me if you'd like their contact details.

I'd stay well away from RentaCoder/India. I've had the pleasure of fixing lots of code for an estate agents that was originally outsourced to an Indian group through RAC.

A bit like me saying stay away from Pistonheads Classifieds, it's full of scammers.

Well, yes - it does seem that way. The point I was trying to make (badly) is to choose someone based on recommendations, examples of work (code not the end result) etc.

Good for you.

You had already recommended rentacoder. What value did you add by saying that, in your opinion, your suggestion was better? Based on what? How many pieces of work have you subbed to both sites in order to compare?

An entirely baseless and superfluous post.

I have done four pieces of work on RAC spending around £1k, I have done zero on elance, although I have submitted 3-4.

RAC seems to go through things more methodically when submitting and is easier to use IMO.

Outsource to India, have a mountain of communication problems, get back an unmaintainable mess, pay some British professionals a fortune to sort it out.
