Project GT1 build is finally complete and the last of the MoTeC software gremlins have been resolved. I drove the car over the weekend of 20th September and it performed very well. Although the car is still in the UK, it should be joining me in Italy within the next few weeks.

Here are some images of the finished car:

The ride height is set up for road-use at present, but can be adjusted for track days. I´m hoping to run the car at Monza sometime soon.

Cheers,
Mike S

Wow, very nicely done. Is the same car that I have seen pics of on Unitys page with the metallic silve rlooking engine cover? If so, looks fantastic!

Yes - it´s the same car. I managed to meet up with some of the guys on the Alton Towers day.

The engine cover was stripped and polished to match the charge-coolers and other alloy header tanks.

Thanks for the compliment - I hope to bring some interesting stories over the next months.

I had always intended the car for track day fun - perhaps I can try out all the major European circuits and do a kind of track report on each - there is food for thought.

Here is one of the engine....

Hey Steve,

I have a load of images - what kind of thing are you after? Low front quarter.... high front quarter.... close-up... distant... I´d be very happy to dig out something for you - Let me know.

By the way - your paint job looks excellent!

I'd like to add your car next to mine as it was after I took these images (I had to PhotoShop them together for the pan shot). If you have a hires of approx the correct angle I'll pop it on the left.

I'll require a hires as the source for this image is around 2800x7000.
