Seems fair enough to me.

He is one of the most famous men alive, why would anyone expect him to have spare time?

And they deserve thanking personally for that?

Buying an album is a contract, you pay money and recieve the right to play the record in return, outside of that, all bets are off.

He's been doing it for 50 years, and is obviously fed up.

I can't say I blame him. His fame wasn't a one-way deal, their music is wonderful.

Because perhaps he should remember the people that made him famous?

Personally, I think the Beatles are ste, but I appear to be in the minority

fair play to be direct about it. he seems to answer a lot personally and must have been doing this for 40yrs now.

much better to say 'enough' than to throw it in the bin or employ someone to answer it for him which would also be a con.

ringo can do no wrong in my eyes after thomas.

I think he's odd. Affected by fame at an early age. Or, 'up his own arse' in other words.

His hate for Liverpool is well documented too.

Weirdo.

AND he sounds like Thomas the Tank Engine in interviews.

Yes. Without them he'd be another homeless musician. They're only asking for a signature, not a letter saying thanks. He could at least get people to do the signing for him like a lot of people do. Making such a big point of it is a slap to the face to a lot of fans (I would imagine, I'm not one of them)

He's an arse.

he never said he hated liverpool, just that there's nothing he misses about the place. i can see his point compared to what his lifestyle is now compared to then.

And why do they want a signature?

To hold and keep, a memento of their idol?

Or eBay, in case he dies?

Hmmmn?

Which bit of the Beatles stuff is ste? The early hits? The live performances? The albums? The films? Which of the 213 songs didn't grab your attention? Macca's songs? Lennon's songs? Harrison's songs? The hairstyles? The clothes?

Do you like Oasis?
