colour ID help.

I've got a 98 cerb that i was told buy the dealer is Atlanter blue, a bmw colour. The bmw code is 306. On my id plate under body code it has p422-emv9b. Could some kind sole tell me what these two numb's and letters mean?

The P422 bit means it was an ICI colour, the emv9b part is not in any of the lists I have I'm afraid.
Following up the BMW route might be your best course of action.

its not mentioned in any records i have either, could be a one off colour, i will have a look at the factory tomorrow and our ici/nexa computer and post tomorrow night.

Would you mind looking for me please PA49B supposed to be crimson starmist as handbook but im told it's ruby mica red just trying to confirm.

OK, sorry for butting in for a moment, any ideas on the paint code for Reflex Purple ? Checked the paint code on the car with the body shop I use in work and they couldn't find any record of it whether it be ICI or any specific manufacturers colour.

Thanks chaps. When you say it's not on your list, i take it that means the second set of digits relates to the colour code. Hope you can find some info, thanks.

Reflex purple is on my list as TKR1B and 2RRYB by Nexa 2K and Aquabase

Best people to see about colour codes and paint are gerbil from the factory and surface and design. Nobody knows the colours better than them. These are the guys that paint all your cars from factory originaly.

Reflex purple is on my list as TKR1B and 2RRYB by Nexa 2K and Aquabase

the code you have is an ici/nexa code. it is bmw 306 atlanta blue, if you go to any paint supplier and give the bmw code and name they should be able to show you a colour chip. or a ppg/nexa supplier should be able to mix you paint off the emv9b.

pa49b on the ici/nexa website is tvr ruby mica red, daihatsu ruby mica code 3h4, and toyota maple red, medium red and burgandy code 3h4. all the same colour.

I was also told that this was a rare TVR colour don't know if that's true but the person giving me the info was spot on with the colour.

Looks the same as mine on the picture but same paint and 2 codes?
This was the reason i posted but im happy with the info i received.
There may well be slight colour differences and that might be the reason my handbook says CS as that seems a popular colour.
