Attenda are in the high end application hosting business from what I remember?
Looked to be a very slick operation from what I read of them. They pitched themselves as being hosts with development expertise i.e. they could support your web application beyond the "its broken" response of most hosting only ISPs and get in to the code to fix.

Thanks guys - interview lasted all of 25mins, a good portion of which was me asking questions!!! Means I had it or didn't have it before I walked in!!
Their support centre looked incredible - everyone had dual flat screens on their desks with a "houston space centre" type of wall-of-screens in front.
Incredible

Sounds very much like our place in Sunbury. All a sham though .. every organisation I have ever working in in the UK is un-co-ordinated, full of chaos, fronted by a nice picture of success and a Operatiosn centre to rival Cape Canaveral!.
If you ever get a chance to see Global Switch in Londons Docklands ... or BT's operations centre .. now thats impressive.
PS I think their looking for people at our place too.

hehe
i recall waking up a few of their engineers, michael summin or other, young french/german type, who had been working late on some kit in INS;s suite, and fell asleep on the Datacentre floor!
They seemed very young, and messed around a fair bit, but always seemed to get the work done.

Apparently impressed with my experience but they are taking it further with 2 others.

Commiserations.
If you're job hunting in the IT sector and want some advice on interview techniques, it might be worth asking a few questions on here. I've taken a lot of interviews over the past few years (and been on a few

Hey Jas whats the commute like into the city? I live in Andover as well and am considering the "fate worse than death" daily commute!
Not that bad. Can be a pain if there are problems or delays or jumpers on the track

I have done it for the last 3 years, although this year I have been working 80% of the time from home.
Tickets are expensive £40 per day or £72 week £270 Month .. £2600 per year.
Car parking is a pain, I have a scooter ( its free ).
