winter storage tips?
Discussion
Now winter is sadly coming and dont want to drive the car on salty or icy roads what do you ussually do with your cerb during the winter months?
My cerb is kept in a rented garage with no electricity for a trickle charger or anything (would ideally like to heat the garage aswell but cant) does anybody else have this trouble and any good ideas or do i just dissconect the batt? and does this have any implication?
And has anyone tried solar powered chargers?
Sorry if these seem like silly questions
Cheers, Mark.

Hi !
I would take the battery out and store it somewhere with the possibility to charge it. A battery is better stored cold (around +5 - +10 degrees C) than warm. The self discharge which could be up to 10%/month becomes lower if the temp is low.
For the rest of the car You can see how I am preparing my Cerb for the winter in this topic:
