I know of one black one around here. If it had no rear spoiler, it is indeed, a local PHer.
Rich is his name IIRC, but I've only met the chap once. I can't remember his PH name, though paperbag

Does it actually "need" the spoiler? In other words does it become unstable in high speed corners and therefore needs the extra downforce?

Unless your name is "The Stig" then I would say you don't really need one. The back of the GTR is moulded to give some downforce as it is, although the old Sports model certainly did require a spoiler.

Tight bumpy roads = exelant fun (just ask the passenger). We done 2 trips to get the pics and both were great, there are a few straights on the way! Thanks Gary I certanly agree the rear wing is not required for down force and I certainly aint the stig. Although a pair of new tyres would help.

I think it was actually more a case of tight bumpy roads + trying to get to Blakeney before the sunset + ultima = eek

I can still remember the little kid jumpin up and down on the side of the road when we went past! It was even funnier when he did exactly the same thing the following day!hehe

Oh and Rich, you'll want to put a wing on if we go back to the Ring in '09!!
