Hi all, this is my first post! I have an 06 plate focus lx and, have been having a few problems with lack of acceleration and the car 'missing' and also the engine management light flashing on.After getting it looked at independantly i was told it was water flooding my plugs, probably caused by rain water getting down the back of the scuttle plate! Then after taking it back to the dealers i was told it was coolant coming back up through the core plugs which, they then went on to replace and everything was fine for a short time. After been out in the car one day i heard a loud 'hissing' noise and popped the bonnet to once again find 'coolant' or water bubbling and spitting on the hot cylinder head.So back to the dealer where they said it could be rain water getting in through my washer jets but,on closer inspection it was indeed found out to be coolant once again. They said the core plugs probably had not been fitted correctly or had been faulty? So im awaiting my car once again from the dealer but was wondering if anyone else has had these sort of problems and the outcome? Also where to go next if this fails again? Cheers..

Hi Andy.
Welcome to 'PistonHeads' mate.
I suggest a gallon of petrol and a match and you will have no more problems with your Focus, then go and buy the Honda civic you like.

P.S. see you tomorrow at work.
Regards
Dave
