Europa Interior Light

Stepped out of my Europa tonight, and accidently pressed the alarm button on the fob - lots of beeps as the drivers door was still open - but then pressed again and okay.

Trouble is interior light stayed on.

It now has a small delay before turning off when I shut the door.

If I lock the car it turns off immediatley.

Now this is normal behaviour for most modern cars - but I'm sure the light used to switch off as soon as the door is shut.

Am I having a senior moment ????

I waited 15 minutes, went back to the car - and its back to off as soon as the door is shut.

Whats going on ????

my Europa

and when I lock the car it turns off immediatley

This is what I would expect from a car if its dark i would want to see in the cockpit to put the key in the ignition
