There are a few Dax Rush owners with S2000 engines in. Have a look on the Dax Owners Club forum. smile

yeah the S2000 engine would move well. + you could add a blower if u really wanted to try and kill your self.

sadly anthing more than a out of the box kit would be out of my skill lvl. do people think it would be worth buying a running indy then finding some1 with the know how to do the "upgrade"

Lee bought his S2000 engine and 6 speed gearbox for £2K. 240bhp and unbreakable. Does it get any better than that? What does the CSR Caterham engine cost? Only downside of the S2000 is its a little tall. And you get a plug and play auxillary ECU to make it run in a kit car for about £700 i think.

There are a few Westie's and PRB's with the S2000 drive train over here in Oz plus this little weapon.
Skelta which is also available in the UK with the RST V8.

I know it all looks a bit daunting but never be afraid to do the work yourself, you'll be amazed how much your mechanical knowledge comes on in leaps and bounds. I bought the Indy in kit form earlier in the year as pretty much a novice (fit a few K&N's before etc but that's it) and now the car is pretty much done. As a result of my confidence going up I recently rebuilt the head on my Alfa 147 following a belt slip and saved £1500, i wouldn't have even thought about attempting that a year ago.
he has no problem doing it (mastertech at Audi) he just never seems to have any time....
