I do not tend to use credit cards so I am a bit green when it come to promo's offering free transfer of balances. basically I have 2 credit cards an Amex and a Barclaycard , Barclaycard took over a Morgan Stanley card I took out a year or so ago , they have just offered to take any other card balance and let me have it interest free until July. From what I can see see the interest on the Barclcrd is a couple of points higher than the Amex , but i do pay an annual fee for the Amex, What is the opinion of the PH collective ?

Look at the latest card offers and see which suits you best.

Depends on the size of the transfer and when you intend paying it off by.

You might want to have a look at another option too:

Note that Barclaycard will charge you 2.5% of the balance you transfer. And remember that if you use the card for any purchases and rack up a balance - when you come to pay it off they will pay off the interest free portion first.
