My 08 Exige is wet in the boot,is this normal?
It may be condensation as it's the underneath of the rear wings(inside the boot) that have damp/water on them.

You may want to look at how the boot seals, often they are not correctly adjusted when they leave the factory.

Also I believe it is very common for them to leak around the rear wing, and drip in from the fixing screws. It is not a good design.
I recommend removing the r/w and making a proper seal with a silicon type sealant around the base and also around the screws.

I second this suggestion - mine also leaked & was traced to there being no seal around the fixing screws for the Exige spoiler - screws out good amount of silicon in, refit screw & no more leak

Another thing worth checking (once you've removed all the carpet bits) is the wiring that goes into the engine compartment from the battery - there is a rubber bung around where the wiring feeds through & i found mine had popped out leaving the boot space exposed to air/moisture from the engine compartment

If i were you i'd also get your carpets out of the boot now & dry them inside as the longer you leave them in (regardless if you fix the issue) they will hold a fair amount of moisture in them & you'll still get moisture build up

Check the drainage hole around the channel where the lid sits flush to the clam isn't clogged up too.

Also try to park it pointing down hill, if it is like the 111R the drain holes are towards the middle of the car, 1 each side. If parked facing uphill the water floods the boot before reaching the height of the drain holes.
