I'm in Shangani's homeland for the first 2 weeks in Dec, so yet again, I suspect I will be a no-show for the BOLOC's Xmas do.

However, if you'll excuse the slight thread hi-jack, I'll take this oppo to note that there will be some stag do nonsense in London in late Feb, for which an email will go out in due course, and an open door policy will be in operation. Basically I will be doing it old school - there will be a pub. The pub will have full barrells. All barrells will need to be emptied by closing*.

• closing may not occur at the usual time, rather it may be at the landlords discretion... if you know what I'm sayin'
