Is it easy to replace a fog light?

3 series E46.
The glass on one of the fog lightsd has smashed and BMW are wanting £150 to replace, plus I'll have to take a day off. Could this be replaced by a relative idiot?!

If the light is still working put a bit of board in front of the car and mark the spread of the beam, then when you put the new light in you'll be able to adjust it to the correct position.
