Had a bit of a brain storm a few weeks ago decided i needed a new watch , either a sea dweller or a new gmt after a lot of ringing round got pointed to a dealer i had not tried and sods law they had both in !

Decisions decisons , ended up buying the gmt and puting a big deposit on the sea dweller , well the gmt turned up this morning and after trying it on it feels bigger than my current subs , so i'm left with a doubt if i should buy the sea dweller or something else, have had a chat with the guy in the shop and we have come up with a iwc chrono a stailess watch with black face and leather strap , a basic panari , or something from the britling range .

So over to you experts what would you lot would do , bearing in mind i have two ss sumbarinrs and a old ss tag wich looks simmilar to the sub , the gmt wich looks a little like the sub !

Where would you spend your cash , i know i could just not buy one but it would be rude not now i have convinvced myself to pend the cash.

If the GMT feels big, then anything from Panerai is going to fell HUGE. Pretty much the same for Brietling, so for my money would go for the IWC. However, if you want a chrono, why not have a look at Sinn, Fortis or Glycine as well. Sinn you will find at www.chronomaster.co.uk (the only official UK distributor) and the others can be viewed at www.jurawatches.co.uk

Sorry if I have just made your decision 4 times more difficult

Is that the old seadweller or the newer deep sea? I bought the older model , it's no bigger than a sub (i,e 40mm) but has a thicker case

old one , have my name down for the new one, had a look about the weekend and i'm quite taken with a Britiling super ocean chronograph with a rubber strap , but swop the rubber for leather. or a IWC Pilots watch Chronograph automatic in stainless with a leather strap.

As is the Deep Sea.

I'd also suggest looking at Sinn, Fortis or Glycine. They do some quality stuff at sensible prices & all are a bit less "mainstream" the Rolex, Omega or Brietling.

Jura watches also sell Anonimo which might be worth a look too.
