S3 TR7 Dshboard Switches

Does anyone know if this is the correct switch for the driving lights (I can't compare with mine as it was replaced with an aftermarket rocker switch before I bought the car)? i.e. when swithced to the on position will this one have a warning light as required for the MOT

I have tried asking the seller the question but his responses have not been clear all he keeps saying is "it doen't have the facility to fit a warning light", which is not what I am asking

Hard to tell because the photo in the ad is pants.

Just popped out and took a photo of mine - you can see the warning light clearly there, I don't thenk the ebay one is the same at all.

The toggle has a different finish, and the switch doesn't have any provision for a warning light. Clearly that is not the same as the original switch. It is not possible to tell from the picture whether it's even physically the right size and shape.

Looking at Rimmer Brothers web site, it looks as if that is a switch for the main lights - I think it has 2 positions, ie side / dipped. The connections on the back will probably therefore be totally different.

Worth giving Rimmer Brothers a call though they are very helpful.

Thanks all the picture clearly shows it ain't right therefore will not waste my money. Thanks for rimmer brother tip - wasn't bothered though as the current switch does the job it just isn't original and looks awful
