Racebreed. If you read the thread, Eliot picked me up for not doing a control check, fair enough, even so the K&N is better from the service point of view, and when you look at the two side by side, you know the K&N will flow better than the paper offering, especially when loaded.
Cleaning and re-oiling the K&N correctly is of utmost importance. If you would like to know how I looked after my K&N race filters I am happy to do that.
K&N say 100,000 miles but I'm not sure I would leave it that long as it all depends on the use and duty.
