PAS Stop leak fluid. Any good.
Discussion
Sorry, I should have posted.
My wifes Saab is 10 years old and done 114K. The leak had got to the stage that it would empty the reservoir in one week of school runs (25 or so miles).
Anyway, I pourded the stuff in & went for a short drive to get it into the system.
Parked it with some clean board under the engine to show any drips. By next morning there was a bit of oil on the board. used it the next day as usual and by next morning there was one drip. Since then its been oil tight as far as I can tell. The steering feels fine, no odd noises or tight spots.
So, on the basis of my experience I have to say it works.
The stuff cost £12 and while I will still have to replace the rack at least I can now do it when it suits me.
