Go to a paintshop and give them the body code off the VIN plate. Thats the ICI Autocolour paint code.
They'll mix some for you, but may still want to see the fillerflap or something, as even within a single colour, you can end up with a small range of shades, so they will take the code, then refine the match by laying swatches on the sample to get the EXACT shade right.

P.P.S I use PaintShop Products - theyre in Youngs industrial Estate, near Aldermaston, just opposite AWE. They are a professional shop and are really good.
