Hi,

What is the model/type, body type description for the 340r described on the V5C logbook? Is it described as an Elise? Shouldn't it be as a 340r?

I understood it was perhaps 'classed' as an MPV.

Any help would be very helpful. Thanks.

Hi,
I am perhaps just hours away from buying one, and after squinting at the V5 I noticed it said Elise and no sign of MPV (I think). Afterwards, I started wondering.......

Anyway, I am really excited, nervous etc. If I take the plunge, I plan to keep it forever!!

Yep, a plaque on the passenger side.

Does the 340r have any strange habits, such as spraying coolant over the windscreen or smelling of fuel vapour. Or any other worrying things.

One of the things about the 340r that I love(amongst many) is that there is not too much to go wrong(I hope I am right!) - as it is such a minimalist design.

touch wood after 3 years of owner ship not a problem make sure you have a trickle charger for it though as you must take the whole body off to replace the battery and also check when it needed a cambelt as that can be a expensive job but otherwise service costs same as a elise

No. Type 25 is just a paint a trim job, it's still just an Elise.
