Whats the best way to get a 2nd remote for the car? I have only one and is starting to break and i am very worried. Any help appreciated. I live in Cyprus, is there any chance to make one without sending my remote?

Thanks,

If it just the plastic remote, do a search on the net for 'meta key fob'. I managed to get one for about a fiver and swapped the guts over.

If it needs recoding, carl baker is the person to contact - http://www.tvruk.tv/

He'll be able to advise you.

If you need to have the internals upgraded you'll have to send him the complete unit and it'll be gone for about a week (well it took about a week to get mine from Ireland to him and back again).

You will be able to drive the car without it but you won't be able to lock it.

If the internals are the newer ones then any META installer will be able to "suck" the code out of your existing fob and will be able to copy it for you.

Carl does lots of work via mail for customers and dealers all over the country, you've nothing to worry about there.

Thanks Guys, it seems that I have a lot of new friends now, in Cyprus this is the only Cerbera 4,5 and honestly no one is having idea of what he is seeing in the road. Very few know and recognise the value of a TVR... Bad for them!!!!!!!!!

Cheers,
