Could we please have the option to download the entire topic, with all posts, instead of requiring it to be split into many pages. It would make life much simpler, and faster.

PS Whats the story with the Dokic's? Public service announcement to follow?

Curious - never had that request before.

I guess if you're on a broadband link that makes sense but otherwise it will slow down downloads for modem users.

I'm browsing from work, which has a very fast connection. I've seen a lot of forums which have an 'All Pages' button, next to the page '1', '2', '3' etc buttons. That's all I'm suggesting. That way, if someone has a fast link, they can make use of it better, with no detriment to the luddite modem users.

Useful idea, I'll give it some thought.

What about the PS? Or are you trying to keep things quiet?

I don't wish to discuss it on the forums.

Another site I know allows the max number of posts per page to be set as part of their profile.

This is coded as a URL parameter. Despite the limited choice of post numbers available in the profile page options, it's possible to do 'all on one page' by editing the URL and putting in a really large number for the max number of posts.

Three words (that Ted's trying to forget!)

"Joke", "Connery" and "Sean"

not necessarily in that order

That's a good idea. Only problem is when people send the URL to someone it can not work for them sometimes (happens already when people view the posts in a different order). Guess I need to have a 'recommend this thread' option too which negates the need to quote the URL..?

Just came back from 2 weeks hols and having a dreadful time trying to catch up on the forums (work is really having to take a back seat!). Was just about to post this very request myself when I saw this one.

Just wanted to add another request for this function.
