With Crew Chief Wayne Dupuy and newly appointed assistant Brian Sturgeon guiding the team of talented crew, Erbacher is primed and ready to take on the best. Dupuy is already gearing up for 2009 ordering a brand new Hadman car and possibly preparing a second Top Fuel Dragster for the team and young and talented Norwegian driver Siw Nystad.
So, not one of Rune's cars then ?so when we see top fuel drivers coming out to play who are not racing on a regular basis who just do the odd demo type meet like the flame and thunder are they just keeping their licenses up to date ? how long do these licences last ? do you have to race in a top fuel car so many times a year to keep your licence running ? so i take it if you dont own a car and you need to keep your licence up to date then its going to cost a few grand to hire a car just to do that .
so say for instance a top fuel drivers licence has run out or expired or whatever it does? how does he or she renew it ? do they have to go through all the diffrent tests like doing a burnout ,a half track pass and a full pass ?
sorry i have put so many questions into one reply but im sure one of the gurus on this forum can condense all the questions into a simple answer .

So, not one of Rune's cars then ?Mechman without being rude or dissrespectful to any one there is only a few people on this forum who are currently actively involved with the fuel or pro/FIA classes and the rules are all now kept in different rule books so its easy to loose touch. If you asked me current rules for the super gas/comp/et classes i wouldnt have a clue, you get so busy in your own class that you loose touch with other aspects sadly
