350i MANIFOLD

Now that the tasminger has it's new rad I decided to make it perfect and replace the exhaust gaskets on the LH bank which have been ticking away since I got the car 18months ago. Shock, horror! TasMINGER strikes again,when I chipped away the repair material I found the LH manifold, a rusty lump of carp (sic), has a hole at the front port blasting hot fumes at the PAS reservoir which I have now had to heat shield. It has previously been clumsily welded so I'm not keen to go that route again, a more permanent fix is preferable. Any idea what these manifold are off, or are they Tasminger only?

Is there any advantage's with stainless over the standard manifolds on the 350i other than the corrosion aspect of the stainless
