Jim is quite correct.
I have them fitted on my S3 by the previous owner(see LEW for sale pages),the S2 has same sills as standard on the S3.
I also have the rear louvre, both are cosmetic only.
I have seen a S1 at many shows with them too, though i think the S3(with it's wrap-around bumpers)carries it off better, maybe you could do these too?.
For the record,i think the S1,S2 & S3 look perfectly fine in standard trim anyway. It costs the same to put them back to standard,so be sure.

DON'T DO IT!!!!

I have a S3 Turbo, complete with skirts, spoilers and louvres.

I much prefer the purity of the S1 and S2 from an aesthetic viewpoint.

If I could have my car without all the bling then I would. All it seems to do is detract from the beauty of the original.

Doing this mod is also an expensive way to devalue your car.

On a more positive note, your best bet for the parts is probably SJ Sportscars.

Cheers

Pat.

He's probably right. Besides, with the small price difference tween S3 and turbo,it would cost much more for the cosmetic work than it would to buy a turbo...

Thanks for your replys.

The car has the S3 Turbo bumpers and valance on (already fitted when I purchased the car) and I just wanted the side skirts to finish it off.

I'm not 100% sure that I want them on and I'll hazard a guess that the price will persuade me not to.
I'll check anyway.

Thanks

Lee

Ditto, ditto, and ditto
The early cars are so pretty in standard form, spend the money instead on returning it to original spec.
It will be worth more in the long run.

Hi,

I share the same sentiment as everyone else in advising you not to do it. Rather, I would spend the money removing those mod parts already installed. You will be able to sell them and get model year correct parts for your car. Happy Motoring! Jim'85TE
