Help re moving up to a TVR in Surrey

Hi forum

1st time on tonight and all I was really wanting was to maybe meet up with a fellow TVR wedge fan and for me to ask him or her as much as possible before I take the plunge and possibly buy my 1st TVR. I currently have a mint & completely unmolested BMW 320 cabriolet 1988 (px possible + £s for a 350)?

All I really want to do is find out what to look for and what to avoid. I live in Surrey near Esher, Walton way but would be happy to travel a few miles to meet up with an enthusiasts.
