WINTER WORK......NEED SOME IDEAS & SUGGESTIONS
Discussion
Hi all,
With the winter coming up and with it all of that lovely grit and rain i want to to have a few bits done to the Noble.
Question is, what to have done.......?
I know the wiring loom hasnt been done so thats a must but other things...mmmmm any other must do's?
Car has already got upgraded exhaust, lights, gear linkage etc. Engine is pretty much un touched 3R. Don't necessarly want more power. Iam thinking mechanical not cosmetic.
Also where would be the best place to go, nearest to me is West Tuning but if the car is going away for many weeks then dont really mind the distance.

Also remove undertray and diffuser and check chassis for rust.
Camber Mod?
Where to get work done, been hearing very good things about Matt and Dave at Brunters, very reasonable prices too.

Whats the wiring loom mod about and the gear linkage please if this applies to a 3.0?

I see that there is a tunel mod has anyone got any details on this matter, does it aply to the 2.5, as i have to remove the floor pan on mine due to floor leting in lots of water when driveing,
Yes. Remove floor pan and cut holes in the metal plate covering the tunnel. Feed one or two of the air hoses from your heater into the holes and block off the heater inlets. It just makes the cabin cooler. My gear stick and handbrake used to be hot enough to cook the skin on my arm in the summer and the cabin would get hugely hot. Not any more.
As an aside, it also told me I had an oil leak around the turbo as the fumes would come into the cabin under braking after heavy load.
2 benfits for the price of one, although my smoking exhaust at idle and my slightly higher oil consumption should have been enough to convince me before the turbo started getting less subtle and began trying to poison me.
