Indeed - and the pricing is pretty good too. $35k for the 2SS/RS with all the trimmings. Perfect if you live in the US... I can't help but think we'll be paying far more that £35k for our RHD models in 18 months...

Looks like performance (manual) will be identical to the Monaro 6.0VXR. Virtually identical gearing, marginally more powerful but heavier in proportion. I think £40K has been mooted for the UK.

I wouldn't have thought so no. 15 years of trouble free motoring with automatics then buy the Monaro and back in the deep end with clutch judder and all the rest. Never had to drop an auto box out myself, can't say that for manuals.

Chevy tell me £30k but I have little reason to believe that.

So are they actually doing it in RHD?

(I do like it rather a lot...)

I am definitely getting a spare 4L65E from Oz. Quoted £800 plus shipping plus duties. Want one? Comes with TC. (You would have to check your PCM would run it)

Confirmed for 2010, yeah. I'm in NYC in December so I'm going to try and find one...
