Meeting new folk in London

How do!

I have recently moved to London, and am rater enjoying it... One thing however is meeting new folk... Only been in that situation once before (at uni!) and that was easy due to everyone being in the same situation!

I guess the way forward would be to join clubs, I'm interested in cycling, so could look into that... The other thought would be to get a bar job a night or 2 a week, but working 40+ hours a week, this seems not so appealing!

Just thought I'd add that I'm 24, and live in Islington!

There is a monthly ( sometimes more frequently ) gathering of PH'ers in a pub called Dirty Dicks opposite Liverpool Street Station.

We meet in the upstairs bar from 6pm onwards....if you don't spot us at first give it a while as it's usually about 8pm until everyone turns up ( I'm often a bit late ).

There's one on the 30th Oct. There's a thread on here.....get your name down.

Despite passing through Liv St on my way home for 18 months and now only working in Stratford I've still not been to DDs.

Do these evenings always spiral into alcohol fuelled chaos and destruction ending up in some random night / strip club or brothel??

Excellent! I probably wont be able to attend this one due to a shin dig I'm attending friday, but will be keen for the next one! Do they tend to be at the end of the month?!

Last Thursday of the month. Anyone suggesting a change to that gets subject to a fatwa. Traditions is traditions.
