A man of breeding and class obviously.

thumbup

Damn those Beef and Mustard, my father thought he was actually addicted to them at one point, we had boxes of the fkers from Makro when they were still in the cardboardy style packets.

I will add Cheese Tasters from M&S to the list. Make the wotsit look postively amateur. A large bag can last minutes.

Some of the stronger/spicier flavours are nice to look forward to eating but you can't really gorge yourself on them without regretting it later, at least not in my experience.....

However, start on a tube of Sour Cream and Onion PRINGLES and not only do you enjoy a classy flavour but you can go on and on and on munching them, which is what crisps are all about, imo.

Kettle Chips 'Lightly Salted' are nice, too. yum

If you fancy the heartburn and funky burps for hours afterwards, Frazzles or the cheap Bacon Frazzles, or just as good are cheap onion rings or cheese balls.

Otherwise, Walkers Smokey Bacon.

Walkers Salt & Vinegar as the king of crips.
As someone on here said the other day "they are biblically moreish" - never a truer word spoken.

WRONG.

Anything that is baked is not a crisp. They are the devils work.

Worcester Sauce.

The king of snacks was Tangy (aka worcester sauce) Twiglets, but they are no more...

Low expectations. Dearie me.

Tyrells range. All of them, but special mention to their Worcester Sauce & Sun Blushed Tomato flavour, and Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar flavour. For boggo standard crisps, Seabrooks are the Daddy.

Compared to the above, Walkers are the crisp equivalent of mechanically reclaimed meat.

Current favourites are Cheese Kettle crisps or the Balsamic vinegar flavour. However, these pale into insignificance compared to some of the crisps/snacks that can no longer be boughtfrown

Some favourites of old include...

Bacon & Bean Potato Puffs lick
Chicken Whickers (Wickers?)
Bacon Smax (only ever saw these in Shrewsbury swimming baths vending machine - used to stock up on them during the school swimming trips)
Bacon and Bean Piglets
The original Fish n Chips (the modern version is rubbish)

Modern crisps are crap in comparison, imho. Even so, I still eat far too many hehe

Cheddar cheese walkers if we're talking off the shelf crisps, or ready salted seabrooks.

But, chesse doritos have to get a mention, I swear they've got heroin in them yes

Nice, but stink and make a right mess of your fingers
Another one for the mix - Burtons hand made crisps. They do Smokey bacon and a firecracker lobster and chilli amongst the usuals. Ruddy good. Can be found in Sainsburys.

I aggree Pickled Onion Monster Munch, are superb.

However the beef are good as well, and the branigans beef & mustard.

Also Scampi Fries, although you did smell pretty offensive after you had eaten a bag. But you dont seem to see them very often these days.
