Eating away at a Ham and cheese toastie (which had salad on the side obv)
anyways,
i ate the toastie then i thought well, i should really eat the salad.
So, i put my fork into a purple veggie thing and go to eat it when...

I FOUND OUT IT WAS A WORM!!!!

I called over a waitress, and explained to her that there was a worm in my salad and she picked up my plate and took it back to the kitchen and came back over and told me that this happens often, and gave me the bill  ( and she was blond biggrin )

I ended up getting my money back, but has this ever happend to any of you?

Or worse ..?

Thank's.

You guys really like to live life on the ragged edge don't you?

Salad? A worm? Whatever next - maggot in an apple? Spider in a bunch of bananas? Fly in your soup?

I once had a chinese - when i ate some of my chow main a thin piece of wire wrapped around my tongue.

It hurt like buggery - I got two free bottles of Tsing Tao though - so it wasn't all bad. Still finished the noodles, I was starving!

I once found lots of little green caterpillars on some home-grown broccoli .... After a while I got tired of picking them off, and just ate it! They were thoroughly cooked, so won't have done any harm.. Funnily enough though, I've never been keen on broccoli since!

We were on holiday a few years ago and there was a live caterpillar on my Dads dinner, he told them so they took it away and zapped it in the microwave. brought it back and it was still there just dead.
