Discussion
So after my discussion on N/A Tuning V FI Tuning i fid myself in a quandry. There is no way i can justify £5k for a supercharger at the moment, so
1. full exhaust incl. sport cats
2. CAI
3. Remap
what sort of power would that see on a LS2 VXR
i was thinking circa 450bhp FWHP?
realistically though do the header make a big difference as the exhaust im thinking about is the milltek which isnt compatible with any headers!
am i better going
1. remove back boxes for effect
2. CAI
3. Headers
4. Remap
is that likely to nett more?
looking for the most possible wthout taking the engine out, maybe a cam but its a daily driver
im sure ill be able to piece it together from old posts but would be nice in one place

You might make 50hp but by the time it gets to the wheels it translates to sod all. If you are looking for extra kick don't bother with this or you will be disappointed.
So far I have paid for Wortec Sport Pac, Maggie Supercharger, Engine rebuild. I have, in other words paid 3 times in terms of labour for more power. What I should have done is decide on a power output and pay once.
I suggest you have a think about what you want; the cheapest and biggest bang for your buck is to bolt on a SC. You should be able to get a second hand 112 fitted for £3.5k and if you cannot afford it, my advice is to wait.

Yeah none of those things will do much mate.
~330rwhp is tuned LS2 territory.
I had a lucky ~360 with special intake and 1.8:1 upgraded roller rockers, still with stock exhaust.
Like wormus says, you might as well just do it once properly
Maybe just buy a piece at a time. What power do you want? Figure that out and the mods you need will follow.

That set up from us would nett you circa 445bhp.
As Richard says, how much do you want? Good question, but what do you compare it to. Our demonstrator has exactly that on it (the 6 litre one). Its here waiting for you to test drive

maybe should take your advise and wait getting married next year so that dont help
maybe just do the first upgrade exhaust, cai and remap for the noise satisfaction and then save for abit
theres no way a year or two ago i would have said 400bhp just isnt enough!!! we push simular power to a DB9 and ferrari's for christ sake but its never enough!!!
Yep, wortec stuff is designed to build on what you have had done before. Although its better all done at once to save on time and hassle with return visits.
Some blokes have had good deals from WPUK on the older 112 units too, you might find a deal to be had there somewhere.
If you swap your wedding cake for one from asda nobody will know and your car can have that supercharger you need
Also save on the wedding car!
Then you can meet me at the drag strip in 2009 with half a chance

ill take you up on that whats the official quarter mile time for a lamborgini murcielago in the 11's i think because thats my wedding car

If you can just wait a little longer I could give you my results.
At the moment LS2, with headers, flow relieved cat back (self modded), slight engine and auto box tune.
With just the headers and no tune made 320 rwhp with a slipping auto!!!
The cam is on the way and I think by the time that is tuned we should make about 400rwhp - enough to beat the SC cars on the strip.
Just wait and look out for the right kit at the right price. I disagree with some of the above, lots of little 5's and 10's here and there, can soon add up. At the end of the day, you've got to consider; what is the use having 5-600 hp and not having good brakes or suspension set up.
FYI I started with the suspension.
