Company & Market Information

[brum]

Where can I lay my hands, without paying, on company and market information?
I'm looking for things like:

Top 250 Nordic businesses
Top 100 UK companies
Top 50 UK retailers - by sector (fashion, electrical, furniture, fmcg etc etc)
Top 100 importers by for Nordics/UK
Top 100 exporters by for Nordics/UK

etc etc etc

I know that you can buy individual market reports for 50 quid a throw or buy a subscription to BVD for a grand but that's no use to me. Surely this information has got to be freely available somewhere? Doesn't need to be completely up to date - just need to know the who are the major players in the respective markets.

Cheers

The business departments of the respective embassies will give you all that.

Go to their equivilent of the chamber of commerce

Cool - thankyou. Will try the embassies for both the information and COC details. Cheers
