Spurred on by a 'Favorite Crisps' thread in food and drinks, I figured the best place to pose this question would be amongst the P&P's wisest. So, How can I get my beloved Brannigans Beef & Mustard 'potato chips' to Phoenix?

I have to second that! 20 pounds for 48 Crunchie bars!! I am addicted to them and when I can find them here they are about $2.50 EACH. Shipping is a monster, looks like you have to stock up to make it worthwhile.

Thank you kindly. They don't appear to have any crisps, but well worth a butcher's for a little poke around. H.P. Sauce is on the list, as is some nice Wensleydale. May even get some Cheddar, as my wife is adament that Cheddar cheese comes from Wisconsin. Quiet, love.

I can't even find them in the UK - they're the King of crisps IMHO.

Now everywhere only seems to sell McCoys - nice, but not AS nice...

Your local supermarket may carry a lot more British stuff than you might imagine if you look, and it's usually FAR cheaper than the import shops.

My local Shop Rite has PG Tips tea, Colman's mustard, Back Bacon, HP Sauce (They make it in America!) which is sometimes called HP Chicken and Rib sauce, etc. On occasion you can even find british Heinz Baked Beans (For which there is no American substitute).

Any higher end Supermarket tends to have British Cheeses as well.

I did have a look on their site though, they are quite reasonably priced. The one place that I know of in NYC has beans for $2.50 a tin, Heinz Sponge puddings for $6 a tin, etc.

Kind of like how I have to pay over 5 quid for a bag of Cheetos in the UK!

I have been looking for Brannigans Beef and Mustard for ages and I hate to say it, but I think they're gone. I'm sure I read somewhere that Brannigans got taken over by McCoys and the line was dropped.

They still sell Brannagins offshore, so either they've really stocked up or the crisps are still available.

I still get them from the local Costcutter. The only thing that has changed in recent years is the rather classy looking papery bag has been replaced by a flimsy foil poke. I'm happy to report the wonderful rustic crisps are still the same though.

Have not seen them for a while but they do still exist. What happened was they were taken over by McCoys and made into the McCoys brand for use in pubs, however most pubs seem to have McCoys in unfettled form so not sure what is going on. Would be a sad day for crisp lovers if they actually dissapear

I have a friend who's a chemist at a big company that makes flavours and smells. Maybe the Brannigan's Beef and Mustard flavour is just an e-number - perhaps I could get him to send me a bottle of it...?!

Where, geographically speaking, are you guys that can still find them locally? I haven't seen them for a long time down here on the south coast. Still, it's good to know that they do still exist.
