oil drain from pump

If I don't start my car for ages, say 4-6 weeks, will the oil drain from the pump requiring the 'prime the pump pollava'?
I'm sure I read on the Chim forum that this could happen.

No, unless the oil has been drained from the sump (or you have some other fault allowing air into the pump).
