Recently caught by camera van on way to Cardiff excess speed 100mph, NIP arrived, requested photo evidence for 'identification' of driver, photos returned showing pic of car with time, date, speed and distance, but the number plate is unreadable.
Second pic shows time of 4 seconds later no speed or distance but the number plate is readable.
Third pic taken 3secs later, still no speed or distance fuzzy view of figure driving.
Fourth pic is same as third just enhanced, time is same.

Question is do they need a speed and a clear picture of number plate on same photo to prosecute and can you be prosecuted based on a digitally enhanced photo
I know for a fact that by the time the second photo was taken i was doing a lot less than 100, would rather get 3 points and £60 than 6 points or ban and larger fine.

AFAIK they can get you from any of the photos as long as they have a clear laser reading.
