Mortgage deals slightly up in Sept. Dead cat bounce before the true horror of recession cuts in? Or response to some other stimuli (cannot be govt bailout injections, as they were in Oct).

Rates will fall, but it won't help it'll takes ages for the banks to have balance sheets that they can lend off again at anything like the old levels, and sadly my friend I think we'll not see Mortgage Securitisation in it's previous form ever again. No mortgage bonds buyers..... = a huge recution in mortgage lending capacity globally.
