Hi David
I see in the pics you are using the standard factory oil cooler and hoses. You really need to fit an oilstat in the system especially as you have now fitted the side scoops. The oil is going to be overcooled.
A question? Why have you fitted the buttons for fire extinguisher on the bodywork?
Regards Dave

Dave, thanks for the Oil Stat info, where do I get one and where do I place it? Regarding the Push buttons, having looked through the MSA Regs. and the manufacturers info the locations I chose appeared to be an acceptable place.
Dom, I got the Cill Covers and Lids, along with the Rear Bulkhead, Front Bulkhead, Battery Floor (one Piece), Front Rad floor and side cheeks from :http://www.autobionics.co.uk/ all in CF only needed trimming and fitting.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the info Steve, which type would you recommend? sandwich or tube in-line?
Kelvin, I got the scoops unfinished / unlacquered so the price was a little more acceptable, still high even so! Fitting them was interesting to say the least, they were very slightly twisted, so would not fit flat without some heavy persuasion

If you use a sandwich plate (stat or otherwise)it makes the filter almost impossible to remove as it is directly in line with the chassis cross member.I have used a take-off plate in place of the filter then a remote filter and inline stat.
You can mount the stat on a plate secured on the two chassis rails passing over the fuel tank. The hoses come up over the rail and attach to the stat then the two hoses out the other side of the stat go to either end of the cooler. Make sure you put the stat in the right way round.
Steve
ETA Don't position the stat to far back or the hoses will foul the manifold. This is easily done when doing this without the engine fitted. Ask me how I know.
