Hi Everyone... my baby is sick.. can you help

my speed 6 was driven fine for the last 7 months, but it last month it seems to stutter when you accelerate in any gear (i think this problem is the fuel pump related, and I have one in the booth-I just got a new one in the post today)

anyway... drove to work, all good, parked at work, front facing out and the wind and rain was very strong stormy today, blowing the rain right in the direction of the front of her, Later I tried to start after work and she will fire but even giving it a little boost the revs just drop and she cuts outs, also the MIL light comes on, I put WD 40 all over the plugs and in to Butterflies but still no good, I am hoping it is just dampness so hopeful in the morning she will start, so I can drive to my mechanic 200 miles away and get new fuel pump put in.

has anyone else has similar problem and what else can I check

Thanks again everyone for your advice
PS Safe driving out their in these wet winter months

Mine lives outside in all weathers and I have never had any problems relating to the wet or damp, I am thinking perhaps that your cover over the spark plugs is not sealed too well and that water may have got in to the spark plug well, if so, it could take a long time to dry out it's self, I'd check that cover.
Good Luck.

Could it be a faulty lamda sensor?

I thought it would start with a faulty lamba sensor, not %100 sure though, it would be worth plug the old laptop in I think.
